A cheeky way to raise awareness of the diabolical state of Australian urban rivers. From Perth to Hobart, in our major cities, we've all got a pristine, completely swimmable river to be proud of, right?
Sadly, not true. Australia's rivers are pretty messed up. Our grandparents, and sometimes our parents could safely swim in the rivers. But the pollution got too bad and too obvious. So swimming safely in urban rivers is a lost recreation.
It's time we did something about it. Let's bring it back. People have been swimming in Australia's rivers for more than 50 thousand years. Let's Make Rivers Swimmable Again!
